THE PRIMA FOODS STORY
Prima Foods is a BRC ‘AA’ accredited facility, based in Llanelli, South Wales. Established in 1998, we are specialists in the manufacture of Suet, individually quick frozen (IQF) Dumplings & Steam Cooked Meal Components. With over 20 years of experience, we pride ourselves on innovation and have the facilities, expertise, and knowledge to cater for the varying needs of our customers throughout the UK.
Prima Foods is home to the largest suet factory in the UK, supplying a wide range of our regular customers that include Premier Foods, Greencore, Samworth Group & Kerry Foods. We are passionate about delivering excellent quality product and service to our customers and are always delighted to discuss any new product development requirements with both our existing and new customers.
OUR PEOPLE
We have a dedicated workforce of 50 people. The workforce is split between the sales, technical, and manufacturing teams and headed by our four directors.
Our manufacturing facility is based in Llanelli, South Wales and our sales team is based in Northampton. Our team are available to answer any queries at either location.
We are as proud of our staff as we are of our products and invest heavily in regular training and staff development to ensure our workforce is a thriving one. This ensures Prima Foods consistently offer the best customer service to our customers, always delivering high-quality products every single day of the year.
OUR PRODUCT RANGE
Prima Foods specialises in the manufacture of Suet, individually quick frozen (IQF) Dumplings and Steam Cooked Meal Components.
Our vegetable suet is made using only sustainable Palm Oil certified by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil and Identity Preserved (IP) suet which can be traced back to specific plantations where best practice in sustainability and human rights can be guaranteed.
